He Said We Were All Going Home Sick: How to Unhear Fear
Have you ever wondered how a single comment can impact your health? Tune into this uplifting episode of the Mystical Truths Podcast where I chat with Michele about her transformational journey. After a friend’s comment during a recent cruise planted seeds of doubt and fear, Michele made a conscious decision to not follow negative expectations and stay positive. While her friends returned home sick, Michele and her husband remained well, showcasing the profound effect of self-talk and conscious thinking on well-being.
We also delve into the wisdom of trusting your body’s natural ability to heal. Discover how a positive mindset can influence physical health, using historical examples like Jesus’s approach to healing by focusing on wellness. I share a thought-provoking story about a doctor’s visit, contrasting conventional medical advice with the power of intuition and natural healing. We emphasize the importance of maintaining a high vibrational frequency and the role of our thoughts in manifesting health outcomes, particularly during challenging times.
Lastly, we explore the relationship between belief, fear, and intuition in maintaining health. Amid discussions about societal expectations, misconceptions about cleanliness, and the psychological impact of a pandemic, Michele and I highlight the value of listening to our inner guidance system. Through personal stories and insights, we encourage listeners to trust their intuition, embrace hope, and foster resilience. Join us for an enlightening conversation that will inspire you to harness the power of positive thinking and trust in your body’s wisdom.

Welcome to the Mystical Truths Podcast. This is Rebecca, and I'm really glad you're here. Let's unlock your world In today's episode. I'd like to welcome back Michelle. Hello, michelle.
Speaker 2:Hi Rebecca.
Speaker 1:Michelle recently went on a cruise with her husband and some friends and came back with an interesting topic for us to discuss today. So, michelle, let's start with you made your plans with your neighbors, you went on this cruise and having fun, and then a comment was made that kind of felt odd. Tell us what happened.
Speaker 2:Well, this was about. So it was a nine-day cruise and this is about day seven into the cruise and we're sitting with our neighbors, our friends, and we're having dinner and the gentleman says you know, we're going to come back sick from this cruise. We're just, we're going to come back sick. And I said I'm not going to think that. But you know, rebecca, it's hard, once somebody plants that idea in your head, it's hard not to attach to it. And I didn't come back sick, but they did, both of them actually, which was really kind of interesting. And so the day after we got back from our cruise, the woman called me and said are you feeling okay? And I said, yeah, why? She says, well, I have a cold. And I said, well, how's your husband? And she said, well, he's feeling like he's getting one too. And so it's. We've been back from our cruise like three weeks now and he has since like not only did he get a cold, he also developed pneumonia. So it wasn't an illness like you might think of, like COVID, for example.
Speaker 2:You know because that seems to be the big fear of traveling these days. But they still came back sick. You know, my husband and I were fine, but I tell you that I had to really keep catching myself because that thought, that statement, kept entering my mind and it was a challenge to keep it out because, you know, you know it's already kind of ingrained in us in the back of our mind. Anyway, I follow this psychic and she was saying that one of her biggest questions from her clients concern health, because we're so fearful, since the pandemic, of getting sick of our health. And I know, I know you say to be easy about things and you know, kind of, if things happens, it happens. But you know, how do, how do we, how do we deal with this, rebecca?
Speaker 1:Self-talk, I mean it does take a lot of self-talk and the not determination, but the decision to think well as often as you can. It doesn't have to be 100% of the time, but you can see how, for a long time now, even before the pandemic, people have been conditioned to be very concerned about their health, whether it's about accidents, injuries, diseases, the body breaking down. People have been teaching each other not everybody, but a lot to get annual checkups because you know something might go wrong. Well, something is going to go wrong at some point. That's what we're told.
Speaker 2:That is what we're told.
Speaker 1:And so we want to keep looking for it. We're going to keep looking for it because you know we're going to find it and, of course, something's going to go wrong. Then, whatever we're expecting, we're getting some version of and they proved that right, they did. Expecting we're getting some version of, and they proved that right, they did. You know, they both expected that because I'm sure their mindset was on this big ship together, a lot of people, there must be some sick people on here, and it's just going to spread across the boat and we're all going to go home sick. Now, their belief in that is what brought on the illness. Your ability to not believe that as often as you could is the thing that sent you home. Well, because if there was a virus over here, you were somewhere else. It is the way life synchronizes.
Speaker 1:So when we, whatever we give our attention to, we're going to get some more of that, and we just have to keep reminding ourselves of that because, you're right, once somebody makes a comment like that, you can't unhear it, but you don't have to believe it and you don't have to let it keep, sort of regurgitating. You can and, and you know, and I'm saying this with can you imagine somebody else hearing that comment on that ship that didn't know what you know about positive thinking, right? If you think it was difficult for you not to go there, can you imagine how difficult it is for the average person that doesn't understand how this works, right? So, yeah, I totally see the challenge in it and that's why it's nice to know what we know, but it doesn't mean that we just sort of know it and then we're oblivious to everything else that's happening around us. We still hear those comments, you know.
Speaker 1:We still hear, we still feel the energy of people worrying like that, and I think, if we can remind ourselves that everything is all as well, that we can go home well and we will go home well because that's where our mindset is. That's what it means when we say life is always working out for me, because if there's an illness that comes your way, that doesn't mean you did anything wrong necessarily. It may just be your day to go through an experience that has something of that nature to add to your life for a while. But you know, I like that example because when we make up our mind about something, we are going to get some version of that. So how did you, how do you think it worked for you, to keep yourself in at least a pretty decent place compared to where they were at? On that thought For me.
Speaker 2:I had to keep reminding myself to not go there and I, you know, I listened to your most recent episode about the future and one of the things that you said was you know, a positive thought outweighs a million negative thoughts, or something like that, and I think that you know that probably is what saved me, because it was you know as many times as that would pop into my head. I'm like I'm not going there. I'm just not going there and I'm going to, I'm going to stay healthy, and you know, and I really, really try to believe that, because I feel that you know, in addition to just telling us that we need to have belief in our expectations, otherwise, I'm not sure that the positivity works, or maybe it does. Maybe you can answer that.
Speaker 1:Well, you know, we can't push against something and keep it away from us. It doesn't work that way. The pandemic was a good example. You know, people pushed against COVID and the pandemic so loud, so long, so hard that it stayed around for a long time. If, instead of being afraid of it or pushing against it or trying not to get it, if you just say to yourself okay, there are a lot of germs and viruses and whatnot in this world, I'm not going to pay attention to them, I'm paying attention to what feels good to me, what looks good, what's a good idea for me right now.
Speaker 1:So let's say you're on a big ship like that and the vast majority of people are afraid they're going to go home sick, or they're pretty sure they're going to go home sick, that still does not mean that you have to. You and your husband could be the only two leaving that ship. Well, if you can keep yourself in the mindset of I'm not pushing against what everybody else is doing, I'm not agreeing with it, I am just doing what feels good to me. I'm having the experience here that works for me. That way, you're not pushing against the virus or what anybody else is doing with it, but you're also not inviting it in either. You're just keeping yourself in a place where you do understand that these things exist, but you do understand that wellness is our nature. Does that make sense?
Speaker 2:It does make sense. And I can remember coming to a card reading with you one time and I asked you how's my health? And you said to me your body knows how to stay healthy. And so that wasn't actually an answer, but it was because it. Then, you know because I can't now unthink that either, right, you know, and so I prefer to think that then I then I think, oh, I'm going to get sick, and you know why?
Speaker 1:that is because pay attention to how you feel when you think each of those thoughts, when you think my body knows exactly what to do to be healthy and then you think I might get sick. They said that we might get. They said we're going to go home sick. What's the difference in feeling between those two?
Speaker 2:Well, there's a huge difference. I mean there's a huge difference. You know one is so positive and you know the other is so it's. It's fear inducing. Yeah, so it's so-inducing.
Speaker 1:Yeah. So it's so simple One feels good, one does not feel good. That's right. So there's the answer.
Speaker 1:When we're thinking about something that is true, something that is our nature, it feels good because all of creation is giving us feedback that says, yes, that's it exactly. When we're thinking I could get sick, and we're probably going to get sick, and that doesn't feel good because all of creation is saying, well, you could, but that's not really how we're seeing it, that doesn't need to be your possibility. So, when we pay attention to what things feel, like, that gives us a whole lot of information. Because, like you said, when you came to me and you asked, what about your body, if I would have said to you well, I see, this is kind of off, I see there's a problem here or there is a potential buildup of something that's going to be trouble, if I would have alerted you to anything like that, it would have brought your attention to it, and then you would have kept giving your attention to it, and then it would have either developed into something or become something more of something that was already there. So it's my belief that if we so what? If there's stuff going on, your body knows what to do with it. Remind yourself that your body knows how to heal itself and get on with something else that feels good. You know, and that's exactly what Jesus did when people came to in front of Jesus Jesus just with all their sicknesses and whatnot, he didn't see any of that. He saw their wellness. He saw their wellness so purely that they saw it too, and that's how they healed, because he even said you all can do this. This isn't a trick. I'm not healed. Nobody's broken. I'm not fixing anybody. I'm just seeing their wellness so intently that they are now seeing it too and they're dropping all the resistance that has brought on all of these health conditions.
Speaker 1:People say, well, we should be aware of what's happening in our body, we should get a checkup and we should get tests done and we should make sure that everything's okay in there. I'm not saying to not do any of those things. I'm just saying pay attention to how you feel, do the best you can to feel good as often as you can and follow that. Let that be the way you be and you will be fine.
Speaker 1:One of my grandsons had strep recently and it's pretty rare that I get sick, but after a number of days I thought I wonder, like my throat feels a little, is it the weather? So I looked at my throat. Sure enough, there were some white spots. So I thought, okay, I'll go for the antibiotic. Just felt like the better option. So I made a doctor's appointment, which I have not made in years. I had to find a new doctor because it had been so long and I have different insurance. So I made a doctor's appointment and I went in and in the computer she looked and she said oh my, you need to have an EKG, you need a colonoscopy, you need a breast. What do you call the smashy thing?
Speaker 2:Mammogram.
Speaker 1:Mammogram. That's it Blood work. She just had this laundry list that I needed to get done because I haven't seen a doctor in a long time, because this is just what we do, so they say so. She said, okay, so do you want us to give you these shots while you're here today? And I said no. And she said, well, do you want to get this test done? I said no. I said I came here for an antibiotic and it was astounding that you know there's just so many things that I should have had done by this age that I have not had done. Everybody can get them done all day long if they want to, but for me personally, unless I feel like I want to go get one of those done, I'm not going to go, because I'm listening to my body and I'm allowing my body to tell me if it would like any help with anything. Not that it needs it, but if it does, I'm in the way somewhere and that's okay. That's when we go get the help.
Speaker 2:You know, my cousin and I had this conversation and she's she's a nurse, and she I forget, I honestly forget what health subject we were talking about. And I said well, you know what, if you just refuse to go and get the testing done? And she says, well, then your doctor can just refuse to, you know, be your doctor, because you're not listening to, um, their advice. And so I kind of feel like you're screwed, that at that point, because we all want to be that, it's that safety net, like just think it's like having insurance, you know, just in case you would ever need a doctor, you should have a doctor, just in case you would. You know what I'm saying, because we've been conditioned to believe that we will. We will eventually, and experience has taught us, you know, that this is true that it has.
Speaker 2:You know, we have needed doctors in the past. We have, you know, et cetera, et cetera. So you know, I feel like we're kind of up against the wall.
Speaker 1:Well, how does that feel? Not so great. It feels very uncomfortable, doesn't it? Because there's no freedom in that right. I'm not free to not have a doctor, I'm not free to have one. I'm not free to not have these tests. But I really don't want to have these tests. We don't have to back ourselves into that corner. Once we understand that we're not limited at all. You can have a doctor if you want one, regardless of what's been said, because by attraction, if that fits and you want it, the universe will find a way to provide it for you. A doctor will be found for you. If you don't want to have a test and it feels really good not to have that test, you have the freedom to follow that. But I think it's important for everybody to make their own mind up in any given moment. My mind isn't made up across the board that I don't need a doctor If I feel like with the antibiotic. That just felt like the quicker way to go for me.
Speaker 2:So I went with the antibiotic, no big deal.
Speaker 1:So I'm not saying no. I never take any sort of treatment or whatever. If it feels like a good fit, I'm all in. But I'm not in on looking for trouble that isn't there and expecting trouble to be there and then if I don't follow what they say I should do. Well, now I'm in the new kind of trouble. Right, we don't have to be, we don't have to entertain any of that.
Speaker 1:Once you realize that you're always guided, source always has your back on everything. Perfect timing will synchronize up beautifully all the time. If you know that, now you feel very free, because you realize if a test is a good idea, I'll have one. If a test isn't needed, I won't have one. If I decide I want a doctor, I'll get one. If I never see a doctor again for the rest of my life, that's fine too. You see what I mean? Because now, at that point, you realize that you are free to be however you want to be in any given moment, because whatever is good for you in that given moment will always be present. So now nobody else owns your experience, but you.
Speaker 2:And that's true for everybody right. Absolutely. You own your own experience. You have your own journey. The thing is is that our experiences intertwine with other people who we're really close with, so what one person is experiencing another person, like you know. So if something, um something, comes up with my children, you know, then I I've, I'm automatically pulled into that and maybe I shouldn't be but it. I don't know.
Speaker 1:But it I don't know. Well, if something comes up for one of your children, will you be more helpful to them if you're in worry and fear, or will you be more helpful to them if you're in trust and ease?
Speaker 1:Ah, that makes a lot of sense, you see what I mean, and that's another thing that Jesus taught us In the way he beed. His message was basically if I see you as sick, if I worry about you, if I get in the mud with you, I cannot be of any good to you, because now we're just dirty in the mud together. But if I can see you as well, if I can see you as just fine where you're at, even in all of your illness or your disease, your injury, if I can see the wellness in you, then you may see it too. It's okay if you don't, but that's the only way you really stand a chance. You know, what good would it have been if he or any other teacher taught us to figure out where our illness came from, what we did wrong to make it happen, what we should hurry up and do to get rid of it. I mean, that's what we're kind of told we're supposed to do in conventional ways, but that doesn't. It's just not working is it?
Speaker 1:If it was working, we'd have way more wellness than we have illness.
Speaker 2:Right, and you know and in some ways it's like you know we're not allowed to get sick. You know, if you're working out there in the workforce, your employer is not very happy with you if you are sick, and so that just does nothing but increase the fear.
Speaker 1:Sure, you know, and that's one thing that the pandemic did help us with, it made it more acceptable to be sick. In other words, you know, during the pandemic it was oh no, don't, please don't come to work if you are sick. But before that it was get in here. We don't care, right, just work anyway, take a pill, do something, keep working. So we did have. We had Just work anyway, take a pill, do something, keep working.
Speaker 2:So we did have.
Speaker 1:We had a lot of benefit that came out of the pandemic and that was one of them. But you're right, employers do still not want people to be sick, which makes sense. You know, you're hiring these people, you want them to show up and work. But I think we also have to be compassionate that people do get sick. They do get injured. Does it have to be that way? No, but is it that way Right now? It is Right, you know.
Speaker 1:Is it wrong when somebody gets sick or gets hurt? No, it's not wrong. We're all on our own journey. We're all tripping over things sometimes and, honestly, for people that don't understand how healing works, they should pay attention to any medical practitioner that is saying come and get your checkups, because when you don't know your body can heal itself and you don't know that your thoughts mean everything, then you need a backup. And that's why we have conventional medicine, because for a long time we've been convinced that life happens to us, not with us, and when you think life happens to you, there's no power, in that, there's very little power.
Speaker 2:That's right, but that's also, I think, a hard concept to truly wrap your head around.
Speaker 1:Sadly it is for a lot of people.
Speaker 2:It didn't need to be.
Speaker 1:It doesn't have to continue to be, and I think we're moving away from that for sure. We're getting better and better at understanding and researching even what our thoughts are about. What do they mean? What are they and do they mean? What are they and do they really affect our lives? Are they real energy? Yes, they are. Your thoughts are real energy. Because they're real energy, they will attract energy, like them.
Speaker 1:So why in the world, now that we know this, would we want to think thoughts that don't feel good? Because we know those thoughts that we're thinking will multiply and something will become real to us or tangible from that at some point, sometimes very quickly. What do we want those things to be? Health, wellness, the things, the items that we like, the people that we like? Or do we just want to keep running into walls and saying, ouch, that hurt. And then we run into another wall? Ouch, that hurt. Then we run into another wall, ouch, that hurt. Run into another wall, ow, that really hurt.
Speaker 1:See my life, my life has a lot of pain in it. These walls just keep coming straight up in front of me and I hit them because we think life happens to us Like all of a sudden there's a wall or another shoe drops. It doesn't happen like that. We're pulling it all in, we're calling it all in every day, all day long, and there's no pressure there. Like I've said before, even with everything I know and teach, I still live on this planet in a human body. I'm still projecting through a human body. So I still have my moments where I think thoughts that aren't really helping me. I know enough to catch myself. Or I see things that I don't like and I have to remind myself that's none of my business, because if I make it my business, I'm going to get something in that category in my moments that are coming forward, and I really don't want that. In my moments that are coming forward, and I really don't want that.
Speaker 2:And you said earlier that you heard or read something about another pandemic. Yeah, so I, and this was a while ago. And it said, you know, it was like one of those Apple news things Cause I don't watch the news on TV and the little bit of news that I do get is usually from my phone, just in headlines. And it said, you know, basically there would, there is no way we could get around another pandemic. And then I was sitting with a group of women celebrating one of my friend's birthdays and that the subject of the pandemic came up, and one of the women said well, you know, do you think that there's going to be another pandemic? And this woman, who was in the medical field, said well, I don't see how there couldn't be, because there's always viruses around, there's always new viruses that are coming out. And so you know, yeah, there's going to be another pandemic, it's just a matter of when.
Speaker 2:And I, and I even said to her look, I, I can't buy into that, I can't, I can't bring, I can't allow myself to believe that. And you know, and maybe that was the wrong thing to say, but it's so, it's. I can't do that, I can't, I can't think about that, you know, because if I did and I have enough and I worry enough, you know, um, maybe because there's also, I can't allow myself to think about that because there's a fear of thinking about that. I mean, is that possible too?
Speaker 1:Sure, but you know, whatever you think about, you're adding to. So we have to be very mindful of what we're adding to right. So when we're afraid of something, we're adding to that becoming a thing, when we're just even pondering it, we're adding to it. So will there be another pandemic? There does not need to be. Could there be an epidemic which is a lower level? Does it need to be? Like you mentioned the last podcast I just did the story of our future, how?
Speaker 1:do we want it to be, because when people keep saying things like that like well, of course we're going to have another epidemic or pandemic or whatever, of course they're going to be more people that get cancer, of course they're going to be more car wrecks, let's just keep telling that story and then we're going to have the shit show for a long time, and then we're going to have this shit show for a long time. Or we can say, yeah, there are a lot of bacteria and viruses. If people only knew microscopically what they were living in every day, it wouldn't look pretty. It just wouldn't look pretty. I was in the medical profession for a lot of years and the things that we don't know that are on our body, that are useful actually, that look pretty creepy. There are good bacteria. There are ones that we don't like so much. You know.
Speaker 1:In my opinion, when we get a virus or something like that, it's just life's way of saying okay, you need a timeout, check out, let your body do what it does. It knows how to decode everything. Just go sleep or do something that just gets you out of the game, because it's not about the virus, it's about you needing to check out of the game for a while. That's why these things come at us.
Speaker 1:In order for your body to be a good host, it has to be in a vibrational frequency where those bacteria and viruses live. So if you keep yourself in a higher vibration than where they vibrate at, they can't jump on. You're not a good host. They can't survive on you, right? So that's another way to not just think of it. It's another way to see the reality of it. If you don't want to be a good host for trouble, then don't keep yourself in the vibration where trouble exists, because those bacteria and viruses they're not here to torment us. They're here as part of the whole mix. They're here because this is a world of contrast and variety and we do have the wanted and the unwanted.
Speaker 2:Right, and they're doing what they have to to survive Right.
Speaker 1:And they're also doing their part, because when we need a reminder that we need to check out of the serious stuff that we've gotten ourselves involved with, check out of the serious stuff that we've gotten ourselves involved with, they're there. They're there for us, they're helping us out, but what have we been told? They're bad, they should go away. This should never happen. Be afraid of them. Why be afraid of them there?
Speaker 2:are teachers. Well, and in some ways you know, like we've backed ourselves into getting possibly more ill because we're so clean. Now we sanitize everything. We're always our hand sanitizers the washing the hands, the Clorox wipes, the this, the that, that we don't know what it's like to really experience and have our bodies develop antibodies to germs.
Speaker 1:Well, sure, I mean, it does us no good to live in a bubble while we're on this planet. It doesn't really help the body's immunity. It doesn't help us have fun to live in a bubble where we're on this planet. It doesn't really help the body's immunity. It doesn't help us have fun to live in a bubble where we're afraid of this planet or the little creepy crawly things on this planet. You know, our bodies know how to adapt. Our bodies know how to survive and be in this environment. They were designed to do that. We're the ones that tell the body environment. They were designed to do that. We're the ones that tell the body oh, you better be careful, you better sterilize this and you better sanitize this.
Speaker 1:You know, I remember years ago where we had antibacterial everything for a while, even like the high chair trays were antibacterial and there were so many and we found out, oops, that was a problem. We antibacterial. And there were so many and we found out, oops, that was a problem. We anti bacterial lies so much that we started having a problem with bacteria. And the overuse of antibiotics was another problem.
Speaker 1:Right, and people not taking a full prescription, taking half and mutated. You know all this stuff just because we were so concerned about bacteria. Well, now we've changed that to viruses, instead of recognizing that if we just feel good and we just live in filth, than see somebody who is in a unhappy, worriful state live in a very, very clean environment, because that one who's in a downer state will attract something from that fresh, clean environment, that's a problem. Or that happy person living in filth will not have a problem because you can't attract what you're not equal to. You know you can walk through filth and come out fine. You know you can walk through a clean environment what looks like a clean environment and come out come out with a problem.
Speaker 2:You know, we're so wrapped up in fear. I think that it's, and our belief system, which is has changed so much, in all honesty, from when I was growing up because I'm certainly not young by any means Um, but you were trying to be, you know, safe. We're trying to be clean, we're just, we're doing everything to protect ourselves because of fear. And I, although I think that's good in some sense, I feel like you know we're missing out in some ways on fun, on enjoyment.
Speaker 1:We try to figure too much out. You know, I remember we're just not as smart as we think we are as a race. I remember when I was younger, a few times in elementary school there was lice and we were told that it was the dirty kids, the kids that weren't well taken care of at home. And what the world came to figure out was that lice does not like dirty hair, it doesn't like greasy hair, it likes the clean hair. And so people thought they were so smart to figure out that it was, you know, the dirty kids that were spreading it around, when lice doesn't even like that kind of hair. So it just goes to show you that we make our minds up about things, we try to figure things out, we assume a lot instead of just holding our own counsel right, what feels true to me, what feels good to me?
Speaker 2:So, just going off topic for a little bit, like I really think you know you talked about the future and you talk about, you know, the. What feels good to me it's, you know, by moving into that space where we're just intuitive and by using our intuition, I can really see that as being a real source of power.
Speaker 1:Absolutely. You know, it reminds me of like this is how it like comes together in my mind is that we are here on this planet with more guidance than we can even imagine. All the time never stops. It's always there for each one of us, always.
Speaker 1:And this guidance has a broader vision. It can not only see everything that's going on. It knows all of us, knows what our preferences are, knows what our desires are. All of that we multitask and know a whole lot when we're not in a human body. But right now we are projecting this focus through this human body.
Speaker 1:And with all of that intelligence, guidance, love, here we are banging around saying well, you know what, I'll just do this myself. We just sort of tune out all of that stuff that is right there for us, because we've been conditioned to think we are doing this alone and that the guidance might be there for other people but not really for us. Guidance might be there for other people but not really for us. And so we are saying I will figure this out, I'll decide what to do. I'll just make a decision about what's good for me, I'll look around and see what other people are doing and then I'll make a belief from that, and we've done it long enough that it doesn't take us long at all before we have the new ones that are coming and convinced to just like.
Speaker 1:Same thing happened to us. We came in full of trust, knowing that we have a guidance system, knowing that if we just pay attention to how we feel, we'll be fine. And if we trip, we know that there's a good reason why we tripped. And if we trip, we know that there's a good reason why we tripped, and we'll go ahead and take the fall and we'll see what kind of honey is in there for us and we'll just look forward to what we want next, because now we have new clarity because of that fall we had. That's how we came in.
Speaker 2:Yeah, but I was going to say, you know, I don't think, sometimes I don't even feel like I have a guidance system, don't even feel like I have a guidance system. You know, I know it's there, but I, I don't feel guided in any way. So I feel like, you know, when you're, when you don't have that, um, that ability, you feel like you, you are kind of on your own. And then the other thing, yeah, yeah, and then when I do feel like, oh, I'm being guided, I don't trust it. Sure, because you know it's a difficult thing to do, because it happens. I don't want to say it happens infrequently, but it doesn't happen as frequently as not feeling no guidance does Sure because it's been a long time.
Speaker 1:And as frequently as not feeling no guidance does Sure because it's been a long time. It's been so long since you felt the true nature of that that it can be a challenge to trust it when you do feel it.
Speaker 1:Because we get so caught up out there in the world. Our attention is out there. It's not right here where we're at. When we can bring our attention to back here, where we are, and not just the body, I mean just where your consciousness is, where your real thoughts happen, the more you can be there, the easier life is going to get, the more you're going to sense your guidance. And here's a good question for you, michelle. If you're going to sense your guidance, and and here's a good question for you, michelle what do you if you're being guided? What does that look like? How should that show up for you? What do you want it to look like?
Speaker 2:Well, I just feel, I like, I feel like this is this is my right, this is the right decision. Like I know it's not, it's not a matter of there's not a question in my mind, I just know, you know, and it feels good. So that's when I feel like I'm being guided. If I have a situation and I don't, I'm not sure how to approach it, and I just sit with it for a while and I, if I feel guided, I'm like oh, I know, this is what I feel, like I need to do because I'm very feely.
Speaker 2:That's more how I am in tune with the divine or the universe or whatever my guidance system I feel. But sometimes I just know as well, and so if it feels right, if I just know, then I feel like I'm being gone. If I but so many times like I feel like I'm just in the midst of chaos and and I'm stuck, I'm lost, I'm just, I just don't know what to do.
Speaker 1:And that's when you know you're more out there than you are in here. Your focus is more out there in the world than it is right here where you're at. So that's when you want to reel yourself back in, that's all right. Let me just take a breath and center myself again, because this is where my guidance comes from. It doesn't come from out there, it comes from right here.
Speaker 1:Because, as we grow up, we are taught and we get very used to. If I want guidance, I go and talk to somebody, I make an appointment, I seek a friend, I have a conversation, I read a book, I watch a documentary, I write my pros and cons list. We've been taught about all that external stuff when that's not really where our guidance originates from. Those things might be an assistance to it, but our true guidance comes from right here inside us, where we're at. Just like you said, you get a feeling this just feels like I should do it, or this just feels good, or I just know, I just know I want to make this phone call, or you get a little.
Speaker 1:You just heard something in your mind. You just heard something and it makes sense, right, maybe you're you're wondering oh, which color outfit should I wear on Saturday? Which would be the best one for me to wear? I have three different colored outfits. I like them all, I look good in all of them. Which one should I wear? And then you let it go and at some point you hear the red one and you think was it me, did I, did, I did?
Speaker 2:I hear that Did I just think that.
Speaker 1:Just pay attention to how it felt. You can tell you didn't generate the thought, and then go wear the red one and get on with your life.
Speaker 2:And that's true. And that's true Because sometimes I'll be like, okay, which, which way should I go to get to a place? Because you know there's various roads that will get you different ways you can get to this thing, and I'll say which road should I take?
Speaker 1:And it's not, it's you know, you just know, you just know, and we have to watch that we don't talk ourselves out of it, because intuition is not a burning bush. Most often, it's that subtle stuff.
Speaker 1:But the more you pay attention to it and the more you just go with it, just trust it and go with it, the more you begin to remember what that was like, because you knew it as a child, especially a very young child. But it's our nature. So the more we do it, the more we trust it and the easier things get. And now you're not full of anxiety, you're not trying to figure things out, you're not afraid of things, because little by little you're letting go of all of that and trusting a little more. Trusting a little more. And I would suggest you know that anybody that's interested should just play around with that. Start with things that aren't that important to you.
Speaker 1:You know when you get up you have a day off. You know there are some things that you want to get done today, but just let it roll. Don't make a plan. Just let it roll and do whatever happens to come up next for you what feels? I just want to do this. I want to go over there. I want to make this phone call. Just go with it. At the end of the day, see how that day went and if you really could find your flow of ease, you'll look back on that day and go, wow, I got a lot done today, or I had a lot of fun today, or both, because getting a lot done is a lot of fun and I wasn't freaking out about it and you'll find things came into your day that you didn't even expect. That's true too.
Speaker 2:I'm thinking though and this is again a little bit off of topic, but for me, because our last session was on morality, and so I get caught up in authority. You know the laws.
Speaker 2:And I get very so. Things that feel right to me are sometimes not in what I'm allowed to do, and so I'll give you an example of. You know, I live in an HOA community. Now, that is my choice, so I have chosen to accept these laws. But at the same time, you know, you look around the community and I can tell you that not everyone is in compliance with every single bylaw. That's in that manual.
Speaker 2:So I really, really wanted to put it in a Japanese garden and no one no one except my neighbors can see it, and so I did it, and I feel badly about it, michelle, I know, but you know, that's great, no well yes, yes, it's great.
Speaker 2:But, and so, talking about does this feel good? Well, yes, but no, because you know, I feel, you know I've I've broken the law, which, and it hurts absolutely no and my name. I've talked to my neighbors about it. They were completely on board with it. You know, the, the two, the two neighbors that can actually see it from, see it from their place, place I'm so I don't know I. How do I reconcile the freedom with the? You know?
Speaker 1:the integrity Cause I I feel like I've let that part of me down. Good good, Because you need to keep letting that part of you down until you let it go, Because it's okay to do what feels good. It's not like you said. It's not hurting anybody else, it's not interfering with anybody else's stuff, it's something that you adore, it's something that you can enjoy. And the laws that were written there for your community are, you know, just laws to kind of make it so people can have common ground of what they like in a community.
Speaker 1:But none of them are spiritual laws, that's for sure. None of them are written so that every single person will follow every single one of them. They're just put there as the general. In case something becomes a problem, then they can pull it out and say, okay, well, there's a law here, You're not allowed to have that. You see what I mean If your garden was, I don't know, growing through a fence and into somebody else's yard and they didn't like it.
Speaker 1:That's when they pull the rule book out and say, okay, well, we've got a problem, Right. But you know, from a spiritual perspective there are no laws like that. There are no rules. There are. That's why in the last podcast I even said like the, the universal laws. I don't like the word laws being attached to that. I understand why people have put the word there, because they exist without question all the time, but our laws don't. We change laws all the time. We make up new ones, we do away with some and that's just sort of that control stuff. But gravity just exists. It is Attraction, is it bees? Cause and effect is a thing. Japanese gardens only being in certain places because people said so is not a thing.
Speaker 2:It's a very small Japanese garden, by the way. There you go.
Speaker 1:That justifies it. You know, let yourself off the hook, this is just. It's just a little garden that you have in your yard because you love it and it feels good. If you can stay in that and just enjoy it, you'll be fine, and so will the garden and so will everybody else. They won't even notice you have a garden.
Speaker 1:That's probably true. You could have somebody on the committee come and visit your house and they wouldn't even see the garden. They'd be oblivious to it because you don't have a button out there to be pushed about it. So, love your garden and let it be. And when that thought creeps in oh, I'm going against a rule think to yourself yes, I am, I'm free to do that, I'm free to be happy, I'm free to do what feels good to me. And then your brain may say sure, they're free to kick you out or find you. Just calm that part of your brain down, because, yes, that's true too, but only when you have a button out there to be pushed.
Speaker 2:I think the worst they would make me do is is to apply for my quote variants like after the fact.
Speaker 1:So even that, no, no big deal.
Speaker 2:No big deal. Beg for forgiveness.
Speaker 1:I wouldn't even punt. There's no way I'd beg for forgiveness. I love the garden. It's a little garden. I made my garden. Whatever I'll, I'll apply for your thing now If that's what you really think you need me to do. You know, because we are so free that there isn't a rule on this planet that humans have made that can limit us, unless we think so. You know there are people that murder and don unless we think so. You know there are people that murder and don't go to jail.
Speaker 1:That's against the law, right? They don't get caught. They don't go to jail, right? Is it because they're sneaky and they got away with it and they're really smart and they're smart and they figured out how to not get caught? Or maybe that you know all of creation prefers them and has given them a pass on it? No, it's because they're not giving their attention to it. It's because they're focused on their freedom or something else that is keeping them out of the role that other people have decided. Nobody can control us. That other people have decided Nobody can control us, nobody can limit us, nobody can confine us without our permission on some level, whether it's through just conditioned belief, ignorance, whatever we're the ones that are matching with that.
Speaker 2:Then, so can I ask you another question about something that you said on the last podcast? You said something like oh, I wrote it down, actually With intensity we are at a battle between evil and love, and that you didn't agree with that because you didn't like the word battle. But I guess, Mike, what exactly is evil, you know? Is it fear? Is it doing things that are against the law? Is it, you know, is it people what is evil?
Speaker 1:Evil is what we will see when we get so far away from our connection to who we really are and to all of creation source. The further we get away from that, the uglier it looks, the scarier we become, the more twisted we become, the more not detached because we're never detached fully, but you can see how that word would sort of fit. So when we're so outside of our truth, that's what that looks like it's rough, it's ugly, it's scary to a lot of people, but it's nothing that we have to have anything to do with if we don't want to or if we can reconnect, which we do every time we sleep. That's why we.
Speaker 2:That's why the body was designed to sleep, to check us out every once in a while.
Speaker 1:That's why you can't go too long without it, but you can wake up and put yourself right back where you were before. You went to sleep within seconds, and then you compound it through that day Check out, hit the reset button, wake up, do it again, and the longer we're here, the more beat up we can become from it, and it just becomes bigger and bigger and bigger and very ugly. Does it have a purpose here? It sure does. This is a world of contrast. You cannot have one without the other. Does it mean that, because evil is a thing like, it's a potential, it's not a being, it's a potential. Does it mean that we have to dance that dance? No, we're free. We get to do this any way we want to.
Speaker 1:You know, and if we're heading in that direction, which many people have maybe we all have different points in our lives. We do things that are what people would say off course. We always have that connection within us that knows our truth and we'll remember it. Here and there. We still have guidance, no matter how deep we get in it. It's harder to feel it, it's harder to get a whiff of it, but it's always there and nothing will break us as a soul. But this life experience does have the potential to beat the daylights out of us in our human experience, and that's okay, because we're learning. No matter how we're looking at this, no matter which angle we're approaching life from, we're causing everything to expand and become more because of it. We're causing everything to expand and become more because of it, so it all belongs, but it's helping us really connect with our own freedom, because when you fear evil, you're not free.
Speaker 2:Well, my friend and I were having a discussion last night and she was saying that and this was even before I heard your podcast she was saying that things are. So was even before I heard your podcast. She was saying that things are so chaotic out there right now in the world. Things are. There's so much evil and there's and she, you know, she even referenced the you know good versus evil.
Speaker 2:And she says that it's hard, she's losing hope and and and that is really, and I I feel like she's not alone in that and I feel that that's kind of sad. But as more and more people lose hope, does that not affect our collective consciousness and then our future as well, and then our future as?
Speaker 1:well, one person that trusts Source, one person that can hold, more often than not, that place of well-being, is more powerful than millions who are not. So there's always, always, way more what we call good on this planet than there is the opposite. There will always be more of us that are sort of holding the place of well-being, and there may always be others who are not. But we can't take somebody out of that. You can't rescue your friend from that mindset. You can't fix it because it's not broken. But you can be the light that shines and you can hold that light of we're all fine, we're going to be fine because we are fine. Now there's so much more good. That happens every single day here. It's very easy for people to look through media and whatnot and just see, oh, there's terrible stuff that they don't like, they don't agree with. There's more good stuff. It's just that people have become so preoccupied by looking at the train wrecks all over the place because we think that's more captivating.
Speaker 2:And it's reported Sure.
Speaker 1:You can look at 20 things on social media that are just awful While you're sitting in a like for me right now, the breeze is blowing the trees, the wind's blowing the leaves on the trees, there's some flowers out, the grass is freshly cut, I'm sitting in a beautiful room, everything's fine, but there are some terrible things that are happening right now. At the same time, what do I want to give my attention to? There's more good that's going on just in my backyard here than I even have the ability to realize. In the ground, in the air, in the trees, everywhere. There's more good stuff, way more than there is bad.
Speaker 1:And when we give our attention to the things we don't like or we don't agree with, it feels uncomfortable because it's none of our business If it's not, for you don't look at it and people say, well, then you're just putting your head in the sand, exactly Because what you give your attention to matters a lot. So when we give our attention to the things that we're worried, that we could worry about, or that we think aren't good, or there's so much of this in the world, there's so much of that in the world. The more your friend gives her attention to that, the more it's going to hurt her and the less she's helping all of us to progress in a happier, easier way. It's our responsibility, more now than ever. It's time, you know. It's time for us to pay attention and know where our control is, know where our power is.
Speaker 1:Does it feel better to say, you know, we're pretty much screwed? I mean, there's so much bad stuff going on, I have no hope for this planet or these people on it. Does that feel good? Or does it feel good to say, hmm, maybe there is more good going on here. Maybe there is an intelligence that's a lot smarter than all of us. There's a way ahead of us on all of this. Maybe there's a reason why those people are going through the things they're going through that I don't like. Maybe there's a reason why they're acting the way they're acting. Maybe there's stuff I don't know enough about to make judgment on this, to make a call on this. Maybe I should just mind my own business and trust that there is a creator or creation that is all over this and knows way more about it than all of us combined. Maybe, if I think about that, that'll make me feel better. Of course it will, because it's true, when we're looking at anything and we feel bad, that's feedback from source, saying, no, we're not seeing it that way and that's that's a good guidance system. You know, if we can just pay attention to how we feel, we'll trust more and more and more Because that guidance system is literally guiding us.
Speaker 1:When people say I don't have any guidance, yes, we do. Every one of us does. It might be subtle, sometimes not so subtle, sometimes very subtle, sometimes not so subtle, sometimes very subtle. But when we pay attention to how we feel and we pay attention to those inspirations that come through, or that little urge that comes through, that little thing where you say I just know, I just know, all right, that feels good, even when somebody's saying, no, don't do that. If it feels good to you, do it.
Speaker 1:Head in that direction at least, because your guidance might not be saying oh, yes, actually do that thing. Your guidance might be just look in that direction. Okay, just go ahead, look in that direction, because then you're going to get another thought that leads you over here, then one over here, then one over here. Now you're in a totally different place than where that thing was, you were headed for and it all worked out beautifully Because we trust Right, because we trust, and we're in the place of ease and we're in that place of rejuvenation. Yeah, you know, and your friend may not have the ears to hear, but you could say the next time she's worrying like that, you're not helping, say I love you very much but you're not helping.
Speaker 2:I did tell her that actually.
Speaker 1:I mean, you know, sometimes we just don't want to hear that, because we think we're helping by worrying about things. We're helping about, you know, pushing against it and make it stop and tell people how we think they should be. It doesn't work that way. We've tried that for a lot of years. It just doesn't work. You know so well. You know, michelle, this is so funny because we started this conversation tonight going I don't know what should we talk about?
Speaker 1:And we've been talking for a little over an hour, so this was fun. Yeah, it was fun, thanks so much yeah, we came up with some interesting stuff. I think that'll be good food for thought for a lot of people.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah, and I, you know, I think it's funny because like I, after this conversation with you, like I really I feel a whole lot better, I feel a lot less fearful and I feel I actually do feel rejuvenated, so it's kind of, you know, so my card wasn't exactly wrong. I don't think that's right.
Speaker 1:Just for those of you out there, michelle pulled up a card yesterday for you know, like what should we talk about? And she pulled one up today.
Speaker 2:It was the same exact card both days out of a Oracle deck and the card was rejuvenation. Yeah, so there you go. So thank you for that. I appreciate it.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I'm glad you brought that up. That's a good point. Well, I hope you all out there are rejuvenated as well. Thank you very much, Michelle, for coming back on and talking with me. I've enjoyed it. Thank you very much for having me. You're very welcome. And to all of you out there, you can find me at mysticaltruthscom. Thank you.
